Review: Georgia Tasda's School of Magic at CC Blooms

Obscene, garish and hysterically funny Georgia Tasda serves up a bizarre and fantastical set with her tape worm familair and luckless rat queen lover.

Turning the basement of CC Blooms (“Did you know this used to be a morgue?”) into a School For Magic on the verge of being shut down by Ofsted, Georgia reduced the audience to tears while reading their fortunes, giving a potions class and doing something abominable with her broomstick.

Reminding us that even an infestation of rats could lead to true love this show is a world away from the sanctimonious one-man shows that plague basements throughout the Fringe. Georgia keeps the pace fast, furious and filthy
