Award-winning writer, performer, presenter and broadcaster Juliette Burton returns for the third time to the Fringe Festival with another show worthy of selling out. Butterfly Effect is a moving and inspiring hour about this Burton’s struggles with mental health issues and the need to be kind in today’s society.
Burton’s material touches on such serious and taboo subjects that one cannot help but wonder where her positivity comes from. As an ambassador for mental illness awareness, Burton is very open about her problems, casually cracking jokes that break every stigma or awkwardness in the space. She welcomes you inside her head in an educational and hilarious ride that will keep you laughing throughout.
This show is heart-warming in every way, following Burton as she takes on the huge task of spreading kindness to a world that seems to have lost the meaning of the word. She #DaresYouToBeKind in hope that small acts of kindness will help make the world change. Her charisma, uniqueness and talent make Burton a force to be reckoned with as she uses her platform to do more than just perform – she forces us listen to a message that very much needs to be heard.
An uplifting, hopeful show that will leave you wanting to become a better you, Juliette Burton’s Butterfly Effect is a must see.
