Red Bastard invites you to lie with him. “Everybody lies,” he claims, and apparently the one thing everyone lies about the most is love. This immersive show, which requires full audience participation, will put you face to face with the lies you have told both yourself and others about love, sex and relationships.
The hilarious and beautifully written one-man show will offer you a glimpse into Eric Davis’ mind, only to yank it away from you, tantalising you with stories of love and lust, without ever giving you the ending. This show is more than an act, it’s an experience, and a unique one at that, since so much of Davis’ character is reacting to the audience’s response. Be prepared though, you will be forced to participate, and if the Bastard’s eyes meet your gaze, you will be put on the spot – and there is simply no escape.
This hilarious show is as funny as it is unforgiving and will have you questioning and judging everyone around you. More importantly, it will have you questioning the rules about love, and looking for the culprits who wrote those rules.
If you have the stomach for adult content and graphic descriptions at the hands of a charming yet terrifyingly grotesque clown who feeds off your fears and lies, this is the show you’re looking for. There really is nothing quite like it, and it will leave you wanting more. So, enter the venue with an open mind, prepare to face yourself and just go with it.
