Light Boxes takes you on a raw, emotional journey that engulfs your every sense. From the moment you walk in, you are transported into their world; smells of mint creeps up your nose, branches claw at your hair, and your eyes are overwhelmed, you won’t know where to look first.

February has taken over, leaving a cold and depressed town talking of war as the solution. The story centres around Bianca and her family, who just want to survive and stay together through the endless winter.

The cast take us on a compelling and heartbreaking voyage that stretches your imagination, falling somewhere in between dreams and harsh reality. Short musical pieces intersect perfectly with the story, and Melody Grove’s haunting yet soothing voice merges well with the tone of the production.

Light Boxes is a powerful piece of theatre, just as beautiful as it is thought-provoking.
