With an engaging and aggressive start, Andrew Ryan is able to take a handful of anecdotes from his life and turn them from something mundane and depressing into an hour of hilarious comedy. Delivered with a frenetic Irish brogue propelled along by a nervous energy that threatens to come to a halt at any moment, it’s a very entertaining hour of comedy that comes in a very natural style.

Covering the full range of relationships, he begins with marriage (or the failure of) and moves on swiftly to jokes about his string of failed relationships and aggravating his Catholic mother. Even when he fails to execute his lines he is able to capture the audience’s attention and continue to thoroughly entertain.
