Every Brilliant Thing tells the story of a 7 year old boy who decides to write a list of everything that is great about life; from kung fu movies to track number 7 on any great record. This list follows him through most of his childhood and young adult life, constantly being updated.

The production itself is very emotional, the audience are masterfully guided through the rapturous highs and crushing lows of the protagonist’s life. As a one man play, audience members are actively encouraged to be the important people in the protagonists life; from his vet to his guidance counsellor.

This personal, theatrical autobiography holds nothing back. The crowd are guaranteed to feel every moment of elation and sympathise at each heart wrenching fall, all the while adding to the list of brilliant things which, by the end of the show, you will have no doubt has reached 1 million entries.
