Hotel Paradiso is exactly what you would get if Punch and Judy met Faulty Towers at The Bates Motel.

This four person masked play follows the charming story of a family-run hotel business in the Alps and their struggles to keep the business running. Completely silent, it is the characters’ hilarious interactions, the accompanying upbeat music and subsequent entertaining sequences what make the audience laugh hard throughout.

From the kleptomaniac maid to the sharp old woman, the performers are on point and add layer after layer of depth and humour to a simply fun play.

However, it may not be everybody’s cup of tea – Hotel Paradiso mainly gains its laughs through slapstick humour and exaggerated body language. Great for all ages, perhaps not for all tastes.
