James Acaster is the master of storytelling, taking us on a journey that captivates while simultaneously leaving us in stitches of laughter.
Acaster’s show centres around imagining beginning life again and he illustrates this hilariously to the audience in a number of ways: from starting a new life amongst snitches in the witness protection programme to becoming an aid worker in Kenya, to simply starting again every time something doesn’t go your way.
His show is a web of intricately interconnected and witty observations about the mundane which Acaster turns into mass hysteria – there’s nothing this man can’t extract a laugh out of.
He’s charming, unassuming and has a real gift for decorating the room with laughter without resorting to the rude and crude.
