In his hour, Naz Osmanoglu paints his life mishaps all around the walls, leaving nothing untold. Exposure is precisely what the show is about; many comedians are described as storytellers, which Naz admits he has been in the past. Now he is baring that dreadful thing: honesty.
The various categories of comedy have varying strengths; angry logic is one of the greatest if carried off well. With reflections of David Mitchell and Giles Coren, Naz is natural in this technique. Presented with a less than vocal room, Naz isn’t put off and forcefully engages the crowd, stepping right into the audience and making his ‘temper’ part of the act.
Melancholy is the reverse of comedy and Exposure flips between the two. If Naz’s comedy is too dark for you, you’ll at least walk out having helped a man out with his own therapy.
