This electrifying tribute to the famous American duo is a supremely satisfying romp through some all-time jazz and blues favourites.

An ensemble of brilliant young musicians, they permeate the spacious surroundings of the Great Hall at St Stephen’s Church with a powerful and authentic jazz sound. The band was perhaps too spread out at the back of the enormous stage, making it difficult for them to create a lively group dynamic and an entirely tight sound. Nonetheless, the group ably fill the space with energetic choreography, a variety of costumes, and entertaining transition scenes in character. Melani Mordi’s performance of Aretha Franklin’s Think stands out as particularly noteworthy, although all the lead vocalists demonstrated sensitivity to the style.

With this exuberant group of performers, you will likely end your evening dancing around on stage to instantly recognisable Blues Brothers classics
