Threesome delves into the lives of a married couple who attempt to reinvigorate their sex life by adding another person to the mix. They pick out a willing girl in a nightclub and proceed to spend a tension-filled night at her place before figuring out what they really want.

The play is light hearted and funny. It explores the need for openness and honesty in human relationships. The trio present a diverse mix of characterisation with April Pearson and Gemma Rook playing opposing female characters when it comes to being comfortable with their sexuality, creating friction and an exploration of pent up issues. Chris Willoughby plays the perfect comedic counterpart, which has the audience roaring with laughter throughout.

This is a hilarious and entertaining way to spend an hour, but maybe best not to bring your mum to this one given the subject matter…
